I hate noobs on runescape who have to scamm to get money. To help prevent you, the players, from being scammed I will tell you some of the scamms so you can watch out for them and help ban people like this
When you are selling for example a rune scimitar(25k), do not fall for someone who puts 100k and a couple noobish items. You will be so excited but, they will take back almost all the money and you’re stuck with a couple gold coins and noobish items. This is the most common scamm for people make lvl 3 noobs so there real accounts don’t get banned.
You probably have heard of polished buttons and people are selling it like a 1mill gp. This is also a scamm. When new items come out and people don’t know how much they cost they will scamm you like my brother who got scammed. So be sure to know prices of items you truly need and don’t get nothing you wont use.
I know lots of people want to become a member, but parents wont probably let you. Do not fall for sites that say mail me your username and password because that is also a scamm for your account. The only way to become a member is to pay.
Do not fall for people who say “Follow me to win 500k” as this is also a scamm. People who did that play the “Trust Game” where you give them stuff and they give it back and the person with the best stuff wins. That’s what he wants you to think, but when he sees something he likes he will keep it.
