Equipment (What to Bring)
My advice is to bring the following items, which can be very cheaply bought indeed:
Bring Death Runes and Air Runes, enough to cast a good magic spell a hundred times or so. I recommend Fire Blast. Around 200 - 400 death runes should be enough, and bring 4 times the amount of Death Runes for Air Runes.
E.g. 400 Death Runes * 4 = 1600 Air Runes
Bring a one click teleport, preferably the Ectophocial, as you are teleported near Caanfis. This can easily be replaced with a Teletab. A Spade is also needed, and about 10 Sharks for food.
Bring along your best melee and range armour and weapons. Blue D'hide can be replaced with Black, Red, or Green D'hide, depending on your range level. Bring a Magic Shortbow aswell. The Dragon Platelegs can be replaced with Rune Platelegs, and the Abyssal Whip can be replaced with a Dragon weapon of any sort, like a Dragon Scimitar or a Dragon Dagger P++, or even a Dragon Longsword.
Potions should be broguht along too. about 5 - 7 Prayer Potions should do the trick, and a Strength Potion for the fight against Karil.
Monk robes give a prayer bonus, which helps your prayer last for longer! This can be replaced with Initate Platebody and Platelegs if you want to be expensive.
Rune arrows, about 100 will do. I only have 83 because I lost some playing The Barrows.
Wearing Mystic Hat, Gloves, and Boots gives you a nice magic bonus, and wearing a Rune Kiteshield doesn't lower it too much.
The Ring of Wealth can be easily replaced with a Ring of Life. The Magic Amulet is worn for yet another magic bonus (remember, you will be mostly using magic against The Barrows)
A Lava Battlestaff will give you a nice Magic Bonus, while also giving you access to unlimited Fire and Earth Runes!
