Armor trimming
Some people on runescape say they can trim your armor for free and say that the are a member. This is not true. No one in runescape can trim armor can trim armour even members so don’t give them your armor.
Trading
When some people sell you a valuable item then before they click accept they might swap that item with some that looks like that item e.g. they’re going sell you a rune plate body then they replace it with a iron plate body. So always check for the second time before confirming the trade. This will help you avoid getting scammed.
Dropping items
Some experience players often trick low level players (people who haven’t played a lot) to drop their items and press alt f4 so it turns into some very rare item or something like that.
Getting hacked
Other websites
Some websites say that they can duplicate your items or train your account etc. if you give them your username and password. Do not trust them, they might try and steal your password.
Runescape blocks your password
Some people might come up to you and say runescape blocks your password. It is not true runescape does not block your password. Those people are trying to get you to type your password so they can hack your account.
Making other accounts members
Some people on runescape say they will make your account a member for free and tell you to give them your username and password. So not trust them because they might hack your account.
