I recently had some interesting words with someone that many of you know as Zezima. Most RuneScape fans know that Zezima is in first place on the overall high scores list. All of his stats are 99. I asked him, "what is it like to see your name in the first place slot?" "I have gotten used to it," he replied. He went on to say that it can be somewehat troublesome to him, though. He said that he is constantly spammed every time he logs in by people begging for items, gold, etc.
How long did it take him to do it, you might ask. When I asked him, his only reply was, "A long time." He was a very fast leveler in his beginning stages. Mainly working on combat, though. All of his hardwork paid off for him. He now owns a skill cape for every single skill there is. That is a great feat.
Another question I had for him concerned PKing (player killing.) He says that often his main reason for going in the wilderness was solely to train. Sometimes, when mage was getting a little exspensive, he would also go in for the money. I found those facts very interesting myself.
"What about your gear?" When he isn't sporting one of his many skill capes, he enjoys wearing his Fire Cape that he recieved by killing the level 702, Jad. For him, high level monsters like, Blue Dragons, Black Dragons, Jad, and others like that are easy foes.
"What weapons to you wield?" He often chooses one of the better weapons for the particular skill that he is working on. For melee, he tends to use an Abyssal Whip. With Range, he likes his Magic Bow. And, with mage, he either uses his Ancient Staff or any of the others that he may want to use.
Zezima is one of the many players that have decided to excell in RuneScape. He takes his game very seriously. He has definetaly put his mind to his work, and this is his reward. Even today, he is online very prolifically. And, Some of us are actually lucky enough to be on his friends list.
