I have played online games forever and there are some things I want to tell you before you started to play. If you are thinking of starting a game… please don't. I have probably wasted 1 year (real time, I have actually played online games for 4 years) of my life sitting at the computer doing nothing that will help me in the future. I wish there was an article out there that told me how addicting games are and not to start them.
The first game I every played online was Runescape. It was a fun game (back then). I played that game for about 2 years and sold a account I had for $150. After I sold that account I started to BMX which I loved… but I broke my knee later on and had to stop doing that. While on crutches for 4 months I started to play a game called Maplestory... which is totally gay.
Once I was off my crutches I still played online games and never really went out side, I was a loner nerd. So after playing Runescape and Maplestory it was time to take on the daddy of MMORPGs. World of Warcraft. I only played this game for 3 months because I wasn't made out of money and could afford the $15 a month. WoW was probably the best game I have ever played in my life, but I was way too addicted. I wouldn't hang out with family or friends because I was so sucked into it.
If you don't want to do anything with your life and be social then go play on the computer. If you want to be more athletic and social then go outside and do something.
