My Favorite Online Strategy Games 1

This is for strategy game lovers like me. In particular, I discuss one of my favorite online strategy games, Ogame.

I like playing strategy games. I confess that I am a strategy game mania. I used to play Age Of Empires, Empire Earth, Warhammer, Medieval Total War, Dawn of War and Caesar. However, I discovered some internet sites to play online strategy games. Those games was similar to my favorite games which I played in my PC. Unlike my PC games, I could play all those games against the other people on the net. My opponent would not be my own computer but the other people on the net anymore. In a short time, I understood that all those games were very addictive as much as PC games. This article is an introductory article about my favorite online strategy games. In this article, I am going to introduce you Ogame.

Ogame

It is one of the well-known online strategy games of Gameforge AG company. It was released in 2002 by Gameforge. It is a typical text-based space war game. Today, more than 3 millions of people play Ogame online. Ogame is played in 27 different languages wholeworld. Players are free to choose and change the language. The main elements of the game are mineral resources, marketing tools and combat system.

There are 3 main mineral resource to be picked up by players. Those are metal, crystal and deuterium. All those resources are used for producing energy and dark matter. Players need energy all the time. If there is no energy, there is no power and of course there is no production, construction and maintenance. Metals are the most abundant resource. One can find any metal easily. They are used for construction of structures, defensive systems and technological research. Crystal is obtained from crystal mines and they are used for construction of planetary structures and technological research. They are more efficient but less abundant than metals. Deuterium is used as fuel for combating and transportation fuels. They are also used in producing energy. It is the least abundant mineral resource in the universe. All those resources are obtained by mining and trading.

There are various structures in the game. One can construct Solar Plant and Fusion reactor to produce energy;Metal Storage, Crystal Storage, Deuterium Tank and Missile Silo for storage;Shipyard to build fleets and defenses;Research Laboratory for researching and Robotic Factory and Nanite Factory to shorten the time of buildings and ships.

Players have to build powerful defense systems to beat the attacks coming from opponents. Every defense system has a shield power and weapon power. Defense systems minimize the effect of attacks and destroy the attacking ships and weapons. Rocket Launcher, Light Laser, Heavy Laser, Gauss Cannon, Ion Cannon, Plasma Turret and Anti-ballistic Missiles are the typical examples of the powerful defense systems.

Very informative...but there is any chance you do better in your grammar?

I am surprised the Triond editors did not notice the mistakes. And it CLEARLY, C L E A R L Y shows that only the first paragraph was written by you, the rest was copied from somewhere. And why am I saying this? It is because the first paragraph is truly, oh well, lets say, not written in good English and then suddenly the description of the game is written in PERFECT, flawless and full of nice vocabulary English.

These are examples:

Those games was similar to my favorite games which I played in my PC. (Was it tight to get in there)...It should be ON not IN.

My opponent would not be my own computer but the other people on the net anymore. (Should be My opponent would not be my own computer but other people who are also playing the same game on the net.)

In this article, I am going to introduce you Ogame. (Nice to meet you, Ogame) Should be...I am going to introduce you TO Ogame.

Haha, I can't believe you mark my comment as spam...But here I go again (I don't give up easily)

Guys, notice the horrible English mistakes in the first paragraph and notice the excellence in the game description. Doesn't that tell you that this article is copied from a magazine?

Good point Ronald.

You can not justify me and my articles.I don't know why you do this, but you behave me like an enemy.I always confess that my English is not good enough but I try to do my best. You can leave any comment to my articles.
However, you should show your proof, for example which magazine I copied it.Triond is open to searching. To write my articles in a good way,I read about them first. So,your comments are nothing for me.

lonely, you are not my enemy at all. I don't even know you, so how can you be my enemy. I was not trying to let you down or anything, I just love honesty and I believe (I might be wrong, or I might be right) that the article is copied.

And why am I doing this? It is to keep your safe. If someone realizes that the article is copied (again, I might be wrong) you will be in big trouble. I hope it does not happen because sometimes you post good articles.

So, yes...just be careful.

Text-Based Games aren't very addictive. I wonder why people even make such games.
