With Omega release 1.2.3, the newest planet "Zargon" has been made avaliable for all characters. With it comes battle ratings ( for Star Captains only), a whole new batch of monster mecha (most of them based "loosely" off popular cartoon heros, and, of course, a whole new planet.
Battle ratings (SC only):
There are now three different difficulties of mecha avaliable to fight in Zargon, and the choice is yours. Normal sets the monster to the strength of your level. Hard makes the enemy deal more damage and have more health, and extreme does that to a greater extent (but is more for bragging rights). You get {level*10} exp for the normal, hard battles give {level*11} exp, and xtreme, {level*12} xp, (yes, it is xtreme). The Xtreme mechas can have the most health in the game so far, 743 hp, (and if the "incredulous bulk" gets enraged, he could possibly (quite easily) wipe out half your mecha health in one hit! It still adjusts the enemy mecha strength depending on your level.

Incredulous bulk (Incredible Hulk)
Mecha Bat (Bat Man)

Players need to fight these mecha to get the twenty parts needed for the quest.
Collateral (Don't I know a movie called that?):
Some of the environments in Zargon are "destructable" , and you can cause collateral damage, causing the buildings to burst out into flames, and deal energy and health damage to one or both sides. This has never before been seen in Mechquest! I am excited!
Mechquest was released around 51 weeks ago, (1 october 2007), so is coming up for it's first birthday. At the beginning, the Newbatron had 100 health and it's default weapon did 3 to 6 damage (1-2 for 3 hits). Now my mech has 330 health ( i think you can get up to almost 500) and does 44-72 damage (the highest and lowest hits of all my weapons). If it continues at this rate, next year, Mecha will have 1500-2500 health and hit for 528-864 damage!
