Gears 1 was a huge success with millions playing it, from online shotgun duels to co-op campaign. However, as was call of duty 4, probably the most popular game for the 360 that has been released.
And now we hear both games are bringing out sequels.
The COD:WAW Beta was brillitant i have to say, from bouncing bettys, to bazookas, the bolt action rifle, explosion packed action was entertaining and especially fun using grenade launchers. The story line looks promising with a 4 player co-op mode, also, back from Call Of Duty 3 are vehicles, on the beta the tanks were simply the best... if anyone stood in your way you could run them over, make them go boom, or mow them down with a turret, but the best is yet to come, the FLAMETHROWER. imagine lying down in a patch of grass online, your where-abouts unknown to any other player and then, boom, you stand up and unleash hell with the flamethrower...
However, on the other hand.
Gears 2 had no Beta, but gears 1 was amazing, it had everything you need to make a good game from exploding body parts to long range maps for snipers, close range for shotguns, and anything for boomshots and hammers of dawn, although there was no Beta the reviews have been quite amazing so far describing chainsaw battles you can have online, another co-op story line and due to popular demand, Carmine is back. Seriously has also been raised to 100,000 kills however they are letting story mode kills count, and also a new game mode which is sure to prove tough and only the best will ever complete is WHORDE. You are rushed from all flanks by whords and whords of locust, wave after wave, 50 in total. If you manage to survive the whord you earn an achievement both on the game and for achieveing the impossible.
But, now is the time to decide, both games have been released, both promise spectacular game-play, i know which i'm buying first, but as for you... The choice is yours.
