We've all been there. You're sitting in the office, and for some reason you just can not focus on your work. You don't know why, and you don't know how to fix the problem, you just sit there with a blank, spaced look on your face. It's times like this that you attract attention to yourself without meaning to, as you twiddle your thumbs or frequently pop off to the toilet. But no longer will boredom in work be a problem, because you can now play some of the greatest flash games ever, and they are all free too!
Thor Towers
Thor Towers mightn't look like that much fun to play, but it's completely different once you're playing it. It's incredibly engrossing for a game with such a simple objective: Build a tower by dropping boxes. Don't let the game's supposed simplicity trick you though; it's more challenging than it looks. Getting to 20 blocks high is no problem, but swinging becomes a major problem when you reach 75 or more blocks. Just make sure your boss doesn't catch you at this, or he might think you're beyond the realms of professional help.

Motherload
Motherload is truly a phenomenal game. It has a rather simple objective, to gain points by mining on Mars, but the game becomes incredibly absorbing as you dig deeper and uncover some ancient mysteries. Look out for valuable gold, diamonds and treasure, but make sure that you don't run out of fuel!

Coffee Shop
Although it might sound silly, Coffee Shop is a really, really strategic game. You have to run a café for 14 days, and you have to make sure you manage your resources, prices and coffee formula perfectly if you want to succeed. Beware of ants investing your sugar and your milk going sour!

Bush Shoot-Out
Bush Shoot-Out is a modern day classic flash game. It was originally released around 2003 or 2004, but it brought flash games to the masses. With an easy to learn control system, stunning visuals (for flash game standards) and the ability to shoot countless unknown enemies, Bush Shoot-Out is easily one of the most revolutionary and enjoyable flash games ever made.

Motocross 2
Motocross 2 is the final game in this list, but it definitely isn't here just to make up the numbers. This is a classic game that I've spent 100s of hours playing. It might be the same every time, but the same isn't a bad thing when it's gaming perfection. The best thing about this game is that you can easily pause or quit it without “dying or losing”, so it's easy to hide from your boss in work. Hell, this is even a game you can play at home, it's just that good.
