Tips on Making a Club Penguin Blog

Ever seen those blogs that have the new Club Penguin updates right away? Ever want to own a blog like that, and have dozens of penguins flocking to you when you log on? Hundreds of friend requests, that you can't all say yes to? Fans that follow you? Well you can get it easily. All you have to do is have determination.

Starting a blog is hard, especially when no one knows it exists... yet! I suggest using Wordpress or Blogspot blogs. So first you have to make the main articles. Make posts when main updates happen. You're probably going to have to stay up late to get the updates posted on your site first. But that means you're hardcore. You're willing to put time and effort into your blog, and fans will appreciate it. You'll also need some original content for your site. Maybe some games you made up, or some cool edits you make. I remember making Pixel Penguins, and computer-drawn program I made that let fans of my site pick some clothes for their penguin to dress up. You're going to need something new and fun to keep fans coming back for more.

Once you get your site all set up, you're going to have to advertise! Get your name out there! A great way to advertise is to go on others sites and post a lot of comments, with a link to your site at the bottom of your comment. You should have a signature saved on a document, so you can copy and paste it to the bottom of all your comments. Here's an example signature:

Make sure your comments are of good quality, so people know that your blog will be good quality too. Another great way to advertise is on forums, or chats. The official Miniclip Club Penguin forums is a great way to post with thousands of other Club Penguin players, and advertise your site through a signature. You can probably meet new friends too, and learn of other peoples opinions on updates, and predictions!

For chats, websites like Bribble, that host chat boxes (unfortunately for Bribble you have to pay for a chatbox) can be a great way to communicate. Either find a free chatbox that you can set up for yourself, or visit a pre-paid one for another well-known Club Penguin figure. Go on the chat and put your site in your profile, and just chat. Soon people will probably like you, and your style, and might visit your site, just to see what it's like. That's the hook. The original content on your site is the way to keep people coming back for more!

Here are some quick tips:

• Always be nice. You never know if someone's going to bad-mouth you if you're mean to them. Give everyone a chance, and maybe they can help you in the future!
• Be fair. Don't cheat, or use hacking systems to get what you want. Don't lie, or post fake contests and not announce a winner. No one likes a cheater!
• Don't advertise TOO much. No one likes a spammer!
• Have regular updates. You don't want people getting bored!
