Aqworlds Beta Combat

In Alpha, everyone had four abilities; normal attack, strong attack, ice and heal. In Beta, however, the combat is a lot more complicated. Only certain classes can cast certain spells and abilities. Mages have ice,  Bersekers, warriors etc have strong attack. Healers have heal (obviously). All the classes (that i know of) have poison, except Berseker, which poisons enemies and deals extra damage each turn. This makes it more interesting, but you can buy tokens, for a moderate price, to change your class, but these may not be available in the full game.

AQWorlds is still turn based, less so than AQ, DF and MQ. There again, it is only as turn based as Runescape, as the teams take it in turns to attack, but it is real time turn based. More than one character can fight an enemy at a time, and this is needed for some of the harder bosses, (but it is not nessecery).

As I found to my dismay, all the weapons I collected during Alpha turned into designs for swords (which could be easily turned back into swords, but at a cost). The weapons can be easily be upgraded (or downgraded) by talking to a blacksmith and giving him some money. The most expensive weapon in the game at the moment is the "big 100k", which, surprisingly, costs 100k.

The experience to level up is growing rapidly. From Lvl 1 to Lvl 2 it is 1000. From 2 to 3 it is 2000. From 3 to 4 it is 5000. From 4 to 5 it is 10000. Level 5 is currently the highest. I wonder how long it will be before the experience is in it's millions! Each regular enemy gives 10 xp and 50 gold, and quests give 100 xp and 100 gold, however some quests are easier to do than others (the slime pizza in SwordHaven).
