My Top Ten Video Game List

A list of my favorite video games, things about them, and why they are so great.

  1. Socom 3

You can play with up to 32 people on the online maps. There are over 10 maps to play online. The campaign is challenging and if you beat it on admiral you can unlock new weapons for the online play. I love this game because you can use all kinds of weapons and talk smack with people online if you have a headset. There are jeeps, and multiple types of tanks.
  2. Socom Combined Assault

You can now battle in campaigns and quick games online with up to 3 people online. The online play is absolutely amazing with new maps and new weapons! I love this game because you automatically have all the weapons for online play and don’t have to beat the campaign on admiral to unlock them for classic game play. But if you beat it on admiral then you can get badges and weapons to use for the cooperative mode.
  3. Madden NFL 2008

There are new hit stick moves. Players are smarter. The star players have their own weapons that make them better then the other players of that position. You can play online with the thousands of people from Madden Nation and put your skills to the test. I love the new skill drills because you are doing drills against dummies. They are fun and challenging and can help your game play
  4. NASCAR 2008

You can race in four different series. Including the Nextel Cup, Busch Series, Craftsman Truck, and Whelen Modified. The instant rewind can help you if you get into a wreck. You can earn medallions that unlock plates. I love the graphics and the new wrecks and the realistic atmosphere of the game.
  5. MLB 2006: The Show

The career mode is amazing. You start out in double A with the franchise team of your choice. If you play well you can get called up to triple A or even the MLB. You can add attributes to your player when he plays well. You don’t have to play every game either. You can simulate until your player’s next appearance in a game. The graphics are almost as good as you can get to the real thing. In fact my mother thought I was watching a baseball game once when I was playing it.
  6. Runescape

That’s right folks Runescape is one of my top ten favorite games. You might think its dorky. You might think it has bad graphics. But tell that to over a million people that play the game. There are usually at least 200,000 people playing it at a time. Now that is a lot Runescape.

I like Runescape because it is the most challenging game in the world. It is almost impossible to beat. To beat it you would have to get all 99 skills and beat all the quests. Then there would be nothing else to really do except get money. After you do that there’s still not much stopping because a new quest comes out about every week. A new skill about every year. It takes a very long time and a lot of work to get to a 99 skill.

THERE ARE ONLY 22 PEOPLE THAT HAVE GOTTEN ALL 99 SKILLS! I have been playing Runescape for 2 years and the highest level I have is 73. Oh yah and one more thing Runescape is free unless you want to be a member and have over 10 more skills and more then 200 more quests. Then it costs only $5 a month. Not to shabby.
  7. Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil is a very challenging game. Very spooky too. So I will warn you if you have any medical conditions that cause you to get scared enough for a heart attack or something. Or you are a parent of a younger gamer. You might want to think twice before playing this. Everywhere you go on this game there is some type of monster or zombie trying to get you.

I must say the music scares the crap out of me. I will be walking along through the woods and all of a sudden spooky music will play and something will get me from behind. The graphics look so real. It looks like a Rated R movie. Rated R for violence, and blood of course. But I like it because It can wake you up easily. But don’t play it before you go to bed.
  8. The Sims 2

You can do a story mode. Once you reach your goals in a certain location you have the ability to move to a different place. You can even live on a cruise ship. Its sweet because you can do so many different things and if you beat it and unlock everything for one type of sim like a romantic one you could pick a different type of sim and do all the goals for that one.
  9. Call Of Duty 3

The campaign is rather easy but I love it because the graphics are so great and the guns are just like the ones they used in world war 2. I have done the campaign a few times and it doesn’t get old. You can also play online just like in Socom and you can ride the old motorcycles.
  10. Battlefield 2 Modern Combat

This game is mostly fun for online play but the single player is pretty good too. The graphics are very nice. It is pretty easy to snipe on the online play because the sniper comes with a locater that shows where there is someone on the map. There is over 20 different vehicles including Blackhawk and mini helicopters that you can fly.
