How Games Can Ruin Your Life

This shows you what games can do to you and how to stop playing them.

Games have a huge affect on your life. When you play a video game sometimes you will get addicted to the game and start playing It for most of the day but if you actually play music, sports, study, read and go to school you will probably go somewhere in life. One of the games that I got addicted to was runescape!

I played it everyday and sometimes I even played all night. But where did it get me, NOWHERE. I know people like games because they want to beat everyone else and become the best but once you turn twenty and u have to live on your own what are you going to do. You have to get a job, afford a house and become someone. But if you keep playing video games then you will end up like the poor, which live on the streets.

I am finally quitting all the games I am recently playing and I want to become a professional drummer and not spend my time on something that will do me nothing. I want to play in a real band that plays rock or metal and Wright songs so I can entertain people and actually become someone. I want to thank you for reading my speech and please do not spend all your time playing games!!

Spice up on your grammar as well... I've been playing games for 7 years or so now, I play everyday, get 6 - 7 hours of sleep, go to school.

But my life ain't ruined...

It's not the games that ruin you, it's YOU.

As Nobody said, it's not the games that ruin your life, it's YOU! If you can't game responsibly, you can't really game at all. I can play loads of game while still fitting in a full time job or school/study with ease. It's up to you to make sure you game responsibily, the same way it's up to you to gamble responsibly if you go to a casino or to drink responsibly when consuming alcohol. Don't blame games for self-inflicted problems.
