One of my favourite games. Very good story and doesn't bore even if playing again from start. You start from Midgar city train station and you play as Cloud Ex-soldier. Soldiers attacks and you have to beat them. You got company, including Barret, he got machine gun at his right hand because he lost his hand when trying to save old friend Dyne from falling down from cliff when Shinra soldiers shoots them both on hands. Then there's Wedge, Biggs and Jessie, you have joined Avalanche recently, league that fights against Shinra company. You're going to go blow up one piece from Midgar. Shinra's president Rufus has paid Turks to capture you and other Avalanche members, Turks contains Tseng, Elena, Rude and Reno. There's more dangerous guy than Turks or Shinra.
Sephiroth, white haired, wears a black cape and got masamune as a sword. Jenova, that thing came to earth with meteor 2000 years ago. Professor Hojo planted Jenova's cells inside Sephiroth and he becomes stronger than normal human. Game consist big world where you can adventure, later you get pilot guy Cid into your group and he can fly ships so you get airship. There's chocobos and you can breed them and ride with them faster than running. Materias are important stuff in Final Fantasy VII, when you equip Cloud with Fire Materia so he can use fire spells. My favourite character is Vincent Valentine, who used to be turk was betrayed and professor Hojo made experiment with Vincent and results was that he never can't get older, became monstrous, wears red cape and got golden gauntlet at his left arm. Vincent uses handguns and shotguns. He locked himself into coffin in Shinra manor basement.
