Diablo 2 Javazon Guide

Tired of waiting to level 30 to own? My guide explains how to make the most powerful player in the game: The Javazon.

This is a complete guide on what I think is a perfect Javazon (Javelin Amazon) for Diablo 2.

Skills

You can't afford to mess up the skills on a Javazon, they are crucial to its power.

  • Bow and Crossbow Skills: 0 points spent.
  • Obviously, a Javazon doesn't need skills for a weapon it doesn't use.
  • Passive and Magic Skills: 6-8 points spent.
  • Passive skills can definitely help a Javazon, and with + skills, they will help with no more skill levels than the minimum.
  • Critical Strike: 1 point.
  • The percent is high enough with + skills.
  • Dodge: 1 point
  • A useful skill after + skills.
  • Avoid: 1 point
  • Same as dodge.
  • Penetrate: 1 point
  • Prerequisite (something needed for higher level)
  • Evade: 1 point
  • Same as dodge.
  • Pierce: 1 point
  • This skill allows for you javelins to go through the initial target. Without it, your javelin skills are nearly useless.
  • Javelin and Spear Skills: 100+ points spent

These skills are what makes a Javazon a Javazon:

  • Jab: 1 point
  • Prerequisite.
  • Power Strike: 20 points
  • Adds lightning damage to your attack, but it only hits one target, so it isn't used much.
  • Poison Javelin: 1 point
  • Prerequisite.
  • Lightning Bolt:16+
  • This skill is maxed last, so it doesn't reach its full potential.
  • Charged Strike: 20 points
  • A main skill of the Javazon. Releases charged bolts when you attack.
  • Plague Javelin: 1 point
  • Prerequisite.
  • Lightning Strike: 20 points
  • Another main skill. Releases chain lightning, very useful.
  • Lightning Fury: 20 points
  • This is the Javazon's only long distance attack. Releases lightning at nearby enemies, very useful for taking out groups of enemies.

Maxing Order

Charged Strike, Lightning Fury, Lightning Strike, Power Strike.

Stats

  • Strength: Get enough to wear your equipment.
  • Dexterity: Get enough to wear equipment.
  • Vitality: All other points go in here.
  • Energy: None.
