I'm currently playing the beta version of Codemaster's new online game Archlord. It was first developed in Korea where it has been a huge success. The game is called Archlord because players can try to get to the highest position in the game, the archlord, where that person will be able to rule the game and gain extra powers and equipment.
This is a fantasy game based in the land of Chantra which is designed around the 5 elements. You can play as one of the 3 races orc, human or moonelf. There is a total of 8 jobs to choose from.
This game is suitable for pvp and solo players. There are a lot of quests available to players and huge battles between guilds.
Archlord will have a low subscription fee and it is implementing a PLAYplus system where you can buy extra items that can enhance your gameplay with real money.
I have really enjoyed playing the beta test and plan to buy this on release. The graphics are excellent and so is the quest system. A downside for some potential players is that once you leave the village other players may pk you but you can get your revenge by placing a bounty upon their heads.
