ESRB Video Game Ratings

On the ESRB rating system.

There are many video games out in the world and many platforms for them too. I think that some games are overrated by the ESRB, however. Let’s see, Super Smash Bros. Melee. Why that is rated “T” (for teen)? There is not a drop of blood in there, while other games like Grand Theft Auto 4, every other word is a curse and if you kill someone at close range blood splatters on the screen. In my humble opinion, GTA 4 should be rated “A” (for adult). Strippers, prostitutes, drug dealers, your friend Little Jacob getting high whenever possible. I would like to know something else. What’s up with “E10+” (ages 10 and over)? Can’t they just make it “T”? Ratchet and Clank Future is rated “E10+”. Why? Does anyone really care between three years? No. Just rate it “T”.

Thanks for reading!
