Desktop Vs. Laptop

Laptops are very portable and convenient for the traveling business person, they aren't the smartest choice for a gamer like myself.

Laptops are very hard to switch in and out parts like graphics/video cards and sound cards or any PCI slot card like a wireless card. Most laptops have a wireless card pre installed when you buy them and a "stock" video card that isn't very good.

Now desktops are completely customizable. I own a full tower gaming case and it has a liquid cooling system instead of a heat sync fan on the processor; i just prefer the liquid cooling system(less noise and does a better job than the heat sync) but thats my own personal opinion. I never have to worry about my computer overheating. Also desktops are easy to access the inside as long as your not afraid to touch certain components inside the computer like them motherboard, video card, hard drive and things like that.

Laptops also are more opt to problems like dropping it and breaking the monitor, fracturing the hard drive and so on and so on. But with a desktop chances of that happening are very small. All in all if you are a person who loves to play video games or audio work or loves to play around with Photoshop, buy a Desktop computer!
