Boom Blox: A Review

Boom Blox for the Wii was released in May 2008.

Game Play

Boom Blox's game play is based off the Physics engine to add real life physics for realistic reactions and “booming” blocks. Lets say you have 2 “chemical” blocks…. And they touch each other. This will cause a “chemical” reaction and explode, causing other blocks to topple over or explode causing a chain reaction.

In-Game Analysis

This game has many different blocks from Bomb blocks to Fireworks blocks.

Boom Blox has a Create Your Own level or as I would like to call it, Chain Reaction.

The point of the game is to clear all the blocks by either finding a weak point on the stack or you can do something like grab a block and sling it around with your Wii remote and take down other blocks. (That is my personal favorite)

Multiplayer

The multiplayer on Boom Blox is incredible. You can do minigames from taking down each other's castle to who can topple over the tower first. If you are ever looking for a party game, this should be on your list.

Overall

Overall this game deserves an 8.5. The reason I say 8.5 is because I like to customize my character but if it had that it would be a 10 in my book. I recommend this game to anybody who has a Wii and loves party games or just likes to be destructive. I'm sure almost 95% of everybody would like this game.

If you are not sure about it, rent it. I did that and now I am writing a review about it. Make sure you don't miss out
