If you look on the internet, you will most likely find listings for the most beautiful female game characters or for the hottest gaming chicks, but rarely ever for the male characters. Being of the female persuasion, I rather be looking at the male characters. There are lots of attractive male game characters out there, so I decided to list my top three, the cream of the crop if you will. Why should guy gamers have all the fun? We girls like to play, too. In no particular order, here are my three favorites - the top three:
Jhun Hoon
Debut: The King of Fighters 1999 by SNK Playmore
With his long, flowing, platinum hair and muscular body, Jhun is a sight to behold - cutting a striking figure. He is clad in a zippered, form-fitting top over belted pants with matching trim. A tae kwon do practitioner, he moves with great poise and only uses powerful, graceful kicks - even his throws are done with his legs! He epitomizes the masculine beauty - being both rugged and lovely at once - simply breathtaking. Jhun is unique for his ability to actively switch between three fighting stances, including his default one. He is spectacular to watch and has a cool presence, very calm and composed.
Jubei Yagyu
Debut: Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny by Capcom
Ruggedly handsome, he radiates smoldering sex appeal - the man is all about brooding good-looks. He is modeled after the late Japanese actor Yusaku Matsuda, and is based on the real life historical figure of Yagyu Muneyoshi, the originator of the Yagyu Shinkage-ryu school of swordmanship. He is a rarity in Japanese games for actually looking Asian, since characters are rendered to be more stylized than realistic. A noble warrior who fights with great heart and compassion. His movements are all about power and precision - awesome to behold.
Hwang Sung-Kyung (Seong-Gyeong)
Debut: Soul Edge (Blade) by Namco
Handsome, honorable and heroic, Hwang epitomizes these three qualities. With his spiky brown hair, smoldering brown eyes and chiseled body, he is simply glorious - a magnificent warrior. He moves with great power and grace, wielding his sword with precision and style. You will be mesmerized by him, by his regal presence - very dignified and solemn, exuding a majestic quality. He is a man who is passionate for his country and people, selfless to the core, putting duty and honor above his own needs. A true leading man and romantic hero.
In conclusion, these three dreamy and very fictional men leave me starry-eyed and set my heart aflutter, all in good fun of course. *winks* They are the best-looking in my book. Remember boys, there are girls who like to play games and have fun, too.
