I have currently been enjoying Zelda: Wind Waker again for maybe the fourth time. It being an action/adventure game, this time we have Link sailing the seas in search of pearls, pirates, and his sister.
In Ganon's attempt to locate the one that has the tri-force power, a large enemy bird, (The Helmaroc King), is searching the island for girls with blond hair and pointy ears. Tetra, one of the pirates, gets taken by the bird, and it happens on the island where Link lives. She gets thrown into the Outset Summit, (after the pirates have tried to discourage the Helmaroc King), and Link must rescue her from the monsters.
Once she has been rescued, Link's sister Aryll gets taken by the bird by mistake. He meant to take Tetra. Now with Aryll being kidnapped, Link must rescue her. In order for this to be accomplished, he must have help to get there. So, he asks for the pirates' help. Tetra will not let Link go, if he does not have a shield. Link finds one from his Grandmother, and now they are set to sail for the Forsaken Fortress. Now, in the Forsaken Fortress, Link has to find his way to the top of the Fortress and to the room where his sister, and other girls are being held.
Once at the top, the Helmaroc King finds and throws Link to the ocean. This is when Link meets the “King of the Red Lions”. Link goes through all kinds of adventures in order to rescue his sister. But, not only is he rescuing his sister, but he is rescuing all of Hyrule. Tetra, King of the Red Lions and Link all play important parts in this game.Link completes the battles, wins back his sister, and regains Hyrule. Defeating darkness and Ganon has completed his mission.
Much enjoyment is had during this game, as well as lots of time spent. However, defeating Ganon is much worth the effort and the wait.
