The Legend of Zelda Twilight princess has exceeded everyones expectations. The recent games Legend of Zelda: Windwaker and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, was more along the lines of being quite childish. As Miamoto stated "I wanted a game that kids of all ages could enjoy" made people kind of uncomfortable.
When Twilight Princess (TP) was said to come out it was really only meant for the gamecube. Since the recent release of the Wii they decided to transfer it over to a Wii game also. The Wii game could have been better they said, but since it was meant for the gamecube its graphics were a little cheep. The next game if they create one will be for the Wii and will be way better then TP.
The controls are diffrent. You would swing the Wiimote as you would a sword and link would also swing his. The sound is what alot of people complain about. The sound is nice and all but when playing some people have had their Wiimote speaker fuzz on them. Also the sounds are nice, but this is the 21st century and we would like for the characters to talk. Yes the text keeps an old school feel but in the end the reading will add up at least an hour of time.
So the story revolves around a wrangle of some sort who works on the wranch. He eventually turns into a wolf and saves hyrule. Thats the half of it, later in the game your able to transform when you want, and warp everwhere kind of making epona useless there. The graphics when your in twilight are amazing. When playing the Wii you get the sense of being there.
The plot of the story line never gets old. Even if it can be a bit gloomy someone does something stupid to lighten things up. When in the twilight there are these black squares floating around and they really turned up the bloom and contrast down making it seem more mysterious. The black squares appear when you defeat something or when you warp as a wolf.
The game is designed to make you play 40 to 50 hours, If that seems like alot there is still about 10 hours of sidequest left for you to beat. And you still have to search hyrule for heart peices, golden bugs, and poes which really adds up. The game really out-preformed everyones expectations.
This is the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess review, now if this sounded good enough for you go and buy the game and see for yourself.
LittleBaier signing out.
