This part of the game can be frustrating if you are trying to gain access to the cave behind Romanos' house and the lady keeps stopping you. So here is what you do, if you are stuck on Molida Island and cannot get into the cave.
First, follow the Ghost Ship as far as you can go into the Northwestern Sea. When Linebeck says: "…this fog is ridiculous… and maybe there is someone on an island who knows a way around the fog…" go back to Molida Island.
Even if your ship goes down the following scenario will take place. Talk to Romanos and act as if you are trying to leave, he will call you back and grant you access to the cave.
Now exit Romanos' house and enter the cave.
