When you find a magic bottle, your magic meter will be increased by one block. You'll need to max out your magic if you want to finish the game. This Zelda game was released for the NES Nintendo Entertainment System, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance and Nintendo Wii Virtual Console systems. There are four magic bottles in Zelda 2.
Magic Bottle Location #1
You will need the candle in order to get this magic bottle. From the North Palace, which is at the start of the game where Princess Zelda is sleeping, head south. After you hit the mountains going straight south from this palace, go west along the mountains. You'll discover a cave. Inside this cave is the first magic bottle.
Magic Bottle Location #2
In the death mountain maze area, there is a hole that you fall into where you get the hammer. Right next to this hole is a big boulder. Use the hammer to break the boulder and walk into it. You'll find another magic bottle in this location.
Magic Bottle Location #3
This magic bottle is in the maze area, where the Maze Palace is. Inside the Maze Palace you get the winged boots item. When you enter the maze from the bridge, head down the south path. Take the first turn that is heading north. Now follow the east path. Go across the bridge. Once you finish crossing the bridge, take the first path going south right after this bridge. Follow the path and you will fall into a secret pit. Inside, is another magic bottle.
Magic Bottle Location #4
To get the last magic bottle, it is required that you first find the about three magic bottles. After you get these three magic bottles, head to the town of New Kasuto. You'll see an old woman come out of the second house in town. She will tell you to come inside. In the basement, you'll find the last magic bottle container.
