This guide reveals all of the heart piece locations in The Legend Of Zelda 2 Link's Adventure. The heart piece locations remain the same no matter if your playing the NES Nintendo Entertainment System, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance, or Nintendo Wii Virtual console versions. After you find a heart piece, your life meter will increase by one block. You really need to find all the heart pieces, if you want to finish this video game to the end.
Heart Piece Location #1
The first heart piece is just south of the Parapa Palace. Do not go back through the cave. Head south from the Parapa Palace. The desert will end and a path will start. At the end of the path is a woods area. Keep walking circles through the woods area, until you enter a hidden location. After you enter this hidden area, explore both ways (left and right) and you'll find a heart piece.
Heart Piece Location #2
The second heart piece is just south of the town of Rauru. After you get past the boulder, look to the east and you'll see a cave blocked by a boulder. Now to the west is the swamp and another cave with an exp bag. Inside the cave with the blocked boulder is another heart piece. You'll need the hammer to destroy the boulder, in order to gain access to the cave.
Heart Piece Location #3
This heart piece is inside of a hidden path on the way to the fifth palace, The Palace On The Sea. As your walking over the water on the way to the fifth palace, keep pressing the up button and try to go north. About halfway through, you'll be able to take a secret path north. Follow the path north and you'll eventually be able to go east. Keep going east and you'll find a secret hidden area. In this secret location, is another heart piece.
Heart Piece Location #4
This heart piece location is near the Three Eye Rock Palace. Head directly south of this palace. Now head along the coastline and follow it towards the east. You must follow every desert tile that is right by the water going east. You'll eventually run into a hidden location, where the last heart piece is.
This is all four heart locations in The Legend Of Zelda 2 Link's Adventure. After you find all four pieces, your life will be maxed out. If you want to complete this Nintendo video game, it is a good idea to find all four heart pieces. Having your life maxed out is really helpful for the final battle.
