Shrek 2: The Game

Have you ever dreamed of playing a fun and exiting game instead of boring fish games where the fish collect coins? Well now you can play the one and only Shrek 2 game which is based on the movie.

In Far Far Away you get to be an ogre, a donkey and even a little pussy cat named Puss in Boots. Shrek 2 is an amazing adventure game where you use strategic thinking and your character's skills to pass fun and exiting levels. The aim of the game is to defeat evil bandits and help Shrek, Donkey and Puss in boots find Princess Fiona and stop her falling in love with their evil foe Prince Charming.

This fantastic Role playing game is the first of its kind. This is the game where you have to use all of your brain power to get through wanted bandits, flame throwing flowers and fight the evil villain of the whole thing THE FAIRY GOD MOTHER! You might think this game is boring but the great thing about it is it's not a bit boring. You can play this game for hours and hours and not even get bored. You won't even want to leave the computer until you've finished the game.

Controlling the characters in play is really a difficult approach. In the first part of this great game Shrek has to jump across 3 collapsed bridge parts. In other games this is usually an easy part of the game since it's the first part, but in the Shrek game it really is the hardest part of the game to get through. Controlling all the other buttons is so easy it's just like sitting down or walking over to the dinner table. An example is when Donkey, Shrek or Puss in boots attacks the evil bandits they die easily.

For a real gamer the graphics are really poorly established. Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots and other images are not quite realistic. For a game to be so well created the graphics really affect the overall game and where it sits on the game ladder. In the clips the images are too flat. Compared to new and advanced games it is 2D shaped. There was no pixilation on the whole game because game play was limited and we did not see many clips.

The sound effects were really limited in our time of play because there was around 24 people all playing the game at the same time. The music would be really important to the game because without the music the whole thing had no mood or tension. It was just a relaxed game and no-one really cared if they lost or not because there was no music. No-one heard what Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots were saying but there were subtitles that we could all read so having no sound really wasn't a big problem.

The characters and their roles were clearly identified and well established. In the game Shrek faces Puss in Boots, Puss in Boots realizes he can not defeat Shrek so he joins him. Puss in Boot's special ability is that he can climb up certain things whereas Shrek and Donkey can not. Shrek being an ogre, he has super strength and can barge his way through wall giant pumpkins and wooden doors. Donkey has a unique attack being able to spin around at super speed making his enemies move away whilst attacking him.

The gaming fans would not consider this game to be a good one. To those people who are game freaks and love to play games this one is a bit too plain. The graphics are poor, the stories outline is plain and the only good thing is that it is fun the first time round. This game needs to be improved if it is to be sold at a high price or if it wants to be played by everyone.

I would recommend this game to people who are not familiar with games or little kids around ages 6-12. The reason it is such a plain game is because it has poor graphics, poor sound and not much technicality in the whole game.

One part that confuses me is the fact the you said the hardest part of the game is to go across some bridges. No game should make that their hardest element. This game was made for young children around the ages of 6-10.

Also, there are a tons of spelling errors. You spelled exciting "exiting". If you are not sure about words, have someone proof read your work to help you with possible spelling errors. Or you could use spell check, though it's not always reliable.

Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh, but it's just some constructive criticism. :] I'm sure if you practiced some more, you'd get better.
