Toribash - a new fighting game type.
This is a short review of a game called “Toribash”.
At first look Toribash doesn't have anything good to show. The graphics are about average, the menus are buggy at some places, but what makes this game unique is it's fighting system.
Toribash is based on fighting other people online. It is gory and it contains a lot of blood. You can tear off an arm or leg of your opponent, but you must make sure he doesn't do that to you first! The battle system is unusual - it's turn based combat, BUT also you don't just stretch your arms and legs like on an action figure - you can't. Here's the catch, you must control every place of your heroes body (knees, abs, shoulders, head). That can get tricky when starting out, but do not panic - it is easy to learn. First, when you download the game I suggest taking the fighting school in single player mode. There you can cover the basics of moving, some of the easiest and more advanced moves. After you manage to train yourself you should head to the multiplayer mode. Now, multiplayer mode has a few match types, witch are:
- Aikido (Simple fighting, where you must knock your opponent on the ground or out of the field)
- Twin Sword (Fighting with sharp dual swords, this gets messy, since every match has a limb cut off)
- Jousting (Players get launched at each other and try to do as much damage as they can)
- Judo (Not much different from aikido, but the field is unlimited, so the only way to win is to get the opponent to touch the ground with his body

The community of this game is really nice, though this is a bloody fighting game, people are not flaming each other when they lose or win. They actually make this game even better. The servers are mostly always full, so you can play with others anytime you want.
When fighting online you get a rank and belts. After a few successful battles you earn your first belt. You also earn points, witch you can spend in the shop for special effects.
All in all this game is great, fun and addicting. I suggest you try it here.
