Ready? Figt! The new installment of the well known Super Smash Bros is closing in. What is it called? Super Smash Brothers Brawl; and it is coming your way February 10th, 2008. As you all may know, this game is a battle were characters from all over the Nintendo Universe to see which one of them can top the others. This game will included some well know third party characters like Snake from the Metal Gear Solid and Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog are joining the brawl.
What makes this one unique is that you can use four types of controllers? Four?!? Yes, you may use the classic controller, the infamous gamecube controller, the Wii controller, and Wii controller with Nunchuck. Fight from many different stages, you know even have the ability to create your own stage with the new stage builder feature. Play on your new built stages with friends through wifi, or trade stages with them. Not to mention many of the new unique stages already made like Pictochat and Warioware.
Are you having some trouble? Why not call reinforcements? Remember good old pokeballs? They are back, and with assist trophies where you can call minor characters that couldn't quite make the character list to help you. For example, it works just like a pokeball, you pick it up and throw it and the character comes out. Just like pokemon from pokeballs, they can't be killed. They go away when a time limit runs out.
Remember collecting trophies from Melee? It's back! And now you can collect stickers and music! With stickers you can create scrapbooks. You can add music to your stages as you collect them! Just pick them up when you see them in adventure mode.
Remember how smash never really had a story? Now it does! It is called The Subspace Emissary. You get a group of 2 characters and get to fight with them gaining and losing characters on the way. Each thing changes as you get farther into the story. You can even play with 2 people in story mode if you have 2 controllers.
Are you all hyped up? I sure am. This game is going to be epic. It is still not announced if you get anything for reserving the game, but they might give away something soon. Even if you don't get anything, reserve Super Smash Brothers Brawl to make sure you get a copy. This game is going to keep you addicted for a long time with its outstanding amount of replay value.
