One of Nintendo's greatest games for the Nintendo gamecube. Fight as Nintendo characters from all different games in this action packed game. The starter characters are Mario, Bowser, Pikachu, Peach, Yoshi, Captain Falcon, Donkey Kong, Fox, Ness, Kirby, Ice Climbers, Samus, Zelda/Sheik, and Link. There are many more characters you have to unlock and defeat to play as including: Dr. Mario, Luigi, Ganondorf, Falco, Young Link, Pichu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Mr. Game & Watch, Marth, and Roy.
In 1 player mode you can play classic, adventure, and All-star mode if you unlock it. Classic mode is where you defeat opponents to advance and even play bonus stages. In adventure mode you go through different stages till you face master hand and maybe even crazy hand at the end. And lastly in all star mode you face enemies and you only have one live and three heart containers. There's also melee mode where you can play with friends and choose team or all men for themselves. There's time battles, stock battles, coin battles, and bonus battles. The items in the game include: food, warp star, ray gun, fire flower, beam sword, poke'ball, starman, and tons more. Then theirs tournament melee where you can play from as low as 4 competitors all the way to 64!
And in special melee you can play camera mode, stamina mode, super sudden death mode, giant melee, tiny melee, invisible melee, fixed camera mode, single button mode, lightning mode, and finally slo-mo melee. There's much more to this game like trophies, events, stadium mini games, and more so definitely try this game out!
