Super Smash Bros Brawl: A Review

As you probably know, Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out a couple of weeks ago. I got it and played it as soon as I got home.

It is definitely worth it and there are a lot of improvements compared to Melee or the original Smash Bros. There are over 30 characters, each with his/her own different final smash. Some characters are only clones though and some just plain SUCK. One example is Mr. Game and Watch. Some people may be good with him but I just don't like his attacks and have never to managed to master him. I am best with Marth and Olimar, but they are some of the best characters. Ok, on to the good sutff, I willl now review the game.

Graphics: 8/10 Great

The graphics may not be Halo class, but it is excellent for the Wii. It is a little better than Melee. Most wii games have bad or normal graphics, but this game has maybe a lower class Xbox game graphics. You probably wont even notice the graphics while playing the game, since you pay attention to your character, but at least you have something to stare at when you die. (*cough* Zero Suit Samus *cough*)

Gameplay: 10/10 Godlike

The point of the game is to smash people with button mashing, but there is a little more. There is a campaign mode and classic mode, but they can be beat in about 4 hours max. People with lives such as me can beat it in about 8 hours or a day. Smashing people has never been so fun, as you can use graphical final smashes and cool items. I give the gameplay a 10/10 since the brawl mode can last for a lifetime.

Price: 6/10 Fair

The price, about 47.99, is a good price, but I personally think that it is worth maybe 30 or 25 dollars. The actual game lasts about 5 hours but the multiplayer lasts forever. The wifi mode in the game is worth maybe 10 dollars, as it lets you fight anyone with a Wii and internet. Overall, I think that the price is good, but it could have sold better as a cheaper game.

Characters: 11/10 Crazy

There are more than 30 characters in this game, 37 to be exact. There are actually a bunch of clone characters such as Wolf, Toon Link or Lucas. The clone characters aren't really good but some are. There are a wide variety of characters to chose from but you need to unlock about half of them which is really dumb. I personally like Ike, Pit, Link, Snake, Lucario and Zero Suit Samas. They all have really cheap moves and are easy to master. It is fun to unlock most of them, and you get one character after every level in campaign mode. I give an 11/10 since there are so much characters who are good and cool.

Overall: 9/10 Awesome

The worst part is the price. Buy it now!!
