I'm pretty sure that all of you have heard of the Star Wars universe (if not then, WTF???), and im also sure that you've heard about the latest Star Wars game entitled "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed". The newest game in the series takes place between the end of Episode III and the beginning of Episode IV, and revolves around Darth Vader's secret apprentice named Starkiller. This is a review for the mobile version of the game, and will probably not have that much to do about its console counter-parts.

The mobile version of the game has been developed by THQ Wireless and uses the Cellweaver technology. Cellweaver represents each of the cells of the mobile, and inputs gameplay by making you do some series of patterns (which are displayed above enemies), to unleash force moves.

The story of the game is actually really interesting and engaging. You play as Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice, and your job is to hunt down and destroy the last of the remaining Jedi in the universe. I wont say much more about the plot cause it'll risk giving too much away, and i don't want to spoil it for you guys.

The gameplay is pretty straight-forward. You draw the patterns that are displayed above enemies and that will allow you to use your force powers, and blow them away. This is all really good and all, but the lack of not being able to use any lightsaber attacks are a bit depressing. As you progress through the game you'll be able to perform new and more powerful force attacks, and really do some chaos. The boss battles are also fun and somewhat challenging, as you'll have to fight the boss silmultaneously against other enemies (thats a lot of button mashing).

You'll also be given specific tasks to do in the game, not just kill all the enemies you encounter. You'll have to use your force powers to free Wookies, or destroy rocks and other stuff like that. This is also good and all cause it sort of adds some variety to the game.

Overall Star Wars: The Force unleashed for the mobile is a pretty good game and with all its ups and downs ill have to give it an admirable 7/10.
