One of the most enjoyable games to play is Prince of Persia since it is a classic in its own right. Every time someone plays it or any other fan; one never gets bored with it. Some games give you a headache and this one doesn't.
The trilogy is still a classic in my eye and at least the style of fighting has gone into other games as well.
God of War trilogy comes to mind, were you have to face off against the gods. Except that you don't use the time device since there isn't one.
Now in this form, one is welcomed to play any of these games and would love to play them at any given time one fan can get.
Within the past month I heard about the new game and the film that are being planed for the future of the franchise. There are going to be mix feelings for the fans when the new game comes out since they're not going to see the time travel in it at all.
In some ways the main fighting style is also being changed as well. Its part of the games since the Prince had to fix things in his present. It's a welcome site to see a new game coming out, but I sure hope it's more of a prequel than retelling the same story over and over again.
As fans we will welcome the new game into our arms so we can play it and see what kind of changes have taken place.
The news of the feature film is a good idea and as a fan I hope for the fans sake that it stays true to the game.
But besides of all these points of being a great trilogy and the great affect that Prince of Persia has given us through out the years.
One would think that this Franchise may in fact be the beginning of things to come.
May hope bring us a great and inspiring feature and a brighter future for new games?
