Neverwinter Nights 2 is a pretty decent game. It is fun, a pretty good length, but has a really bad downside; when it comes to glitches, this game has more glitches than bill gates has dollars.
Generally this is how the storyline goes: In the middle of the night, a peaceful town called West Harbor is disturbed by dwarfs and bladelings. The main character: you help defend the little town against the onslaught. Out of nowhere your elven stepfather: Daeghun appears with a few elven archers and kill all the creatures. Pretty random huh? So then the story goes on that Daeghun tells you about a githyanki sword which got shattered. You must take the shard to Neverwinter.
So pretty much you advance through the story (you don't even get to Neverwinter until past half the game) and meet random characters etc. etc.
The best part, I think is the customization. You can choose almost any skill (like wizard, ranger, warrior, rogue, etc. There is quite a few choices.) But you can combine a lot (not all though, because the skills require alignments: for example warlocks are usually evil or chaotic, you can't have a lawful good warlock) but otherwise you can make like a mage warrior or whatever. The customization is great.
The storyline is also really intriguing and is like watching an epic movie. Also, when you talk to NPC's a lot of the time your decisions will affect your characters personallity. Like if you choose to kill a character (a rare but sometimes possible choice) it would definitely change your alignment towards evil.
Neverwinter Nights 2 is an awesome game, if you don't mind a game glitched so bad that you would have to try like 3 minutes just to pick up some loot or open a chest. Without the glitches I'd rate this game 9.5/10 but the glitches are so annoying that I would end up with about a 7.5/10.
By the way Neverwinter Nights 2 has pretty good graphics but you need a really fast computer to run it on best quality. I ran the game on lowest detail possible (still really good graphics) and my computer still lagged pretty bad.
