“Xit Woundz” is the name of a professional 4v4 Halo 2 team in the Major league Gaming (MLG). It is one of the top rates Professional teams in the video gaming circuit. They are ranked 10th in the 2007 season with 11825 points to their credit. They are widely rated as the 4th ranked team within the MLG behind Final Boss, Team Carbon and Str8 Rippin. The only worrisome factor with this pro team is the fact that they haven't shown much fight against any of the top rated teams and couldn't win any single game against them. They are thought to be the most exhausted with their preparation to combat the top three at every event and championship.
Though they have done fairly well in terms of performance in the 2005, 2006 pro season, they are yet to firmly establish their presence in the gaming circuit. They have transformed themselves into a professional team within the past two years and have matured a lot, given their inexperience at the start of their career. They are widely popular for their consistency in performance and also the results, mostly for their extraordinary communication skills during the game. With the national championships fast approaching, a fourth place with an experience of two years is something any team would reconsider improving upon.
Xit Woundz is an all-Texas squad, the current roster consisting of Apex, KGB Soviet, ItwasLuck, xOmegax. Its past members were KillerN, Bonfire, Lightking, Sir Samurai 650 and the controversial Zyos. KillerN and Zyos are both legends of the Halo: CE era. The brothers Bonfire and Luck are dedicated and hardworking. Zyos left the team after a disappointing season and many thought filling the shoes of the talented Zyos is hard. Finally they choose Samurai, a journeyman of the league. The choice paid well, as they have improved a lot placing themselves consistently in the top four. Still, they could not crack the top three and unable to defeat any team ahead of them. They faced Final Boss various times, but failed in every attempt. Carbon, too, has knocked them in every meeting of the season not only with their usual flair, but also their showmanship. XiT considers Str8 Rippin, the third-ranked team, their primary rivals and have come close to defeating them a few times. Due to their comments in the interviews and their constant encounters with each other tournaments, a strong rivalry has cracked up between the two. At a tournament, where the difference between huge cash and nothing is a single match, both of them would be watching the other from close quarters, practice well in every possible gametype for that coveted third place.
ItWasLuck is really Tyler Howard and is the acting captain of Xit Woundz. KillerN originally Nick Urso, was the past member of XiT and he is one of the best aggressive slayers of the game and power weapon controllers on the Pro Circuit. Xit even had a fierce rivalry with the fifth placed team Ex in the recent past. Both are hoping to topple each other at the national championships and take a sure spot in the top three. Good luck to both the teams, have a healthy compete.
