How to Fly the Dodo in GTA III

This guide will show you how to fly the Dodo, a plane found in Francis International Airport in GTAIII. The plane is a bit tricky to fly but with practice you could fly as long as you want.

Get in the plane and line it up with the runway. Make sure the plane is straight otherwise it will go off the runway and you might hit other buildings. Now accelerate down the runway and hold Num6. The control may be different on your computer. You can change it in settings. Redefine the controls and set a key for the ones which say "Turret/Dodo Up" and "Turret/Dodo Down." So hold your down key until you hear scraping and see sparks coming out of the plane.

You have lifted off, but you need to keep the plane steady. Tap down to keep the plane steady. Don't let go of the accelerate button. After a few seconds, the plane will seem to drop. Don't do anything except hold the accelerate key. The Dodo should go back up if you have done everything right. You might be close to Staunton Island by now, you might hit some buildings. To steer, just tap left and right a little bit and it will turn. If you press too hard, the plane will turn too much and flip, which causes it to stall.

Congratulations, you have successfully flown the Dodo. It might be more convenient to find another long flat road with less buildings nearby. Remember when flying, don't go over unique jumps, they freeze the plane in unique jump camera view and you get out of it by crashing.
