As you may have heard, the famous Rockstar game Grand Theft Auto 4 is coming out on PC.
If you go on PanetGTA then you will find a few screenshots (which i will put in my pictures!) and a few little details about it. To save you some time here is some details:
Graphics will be "polished well beyond what they were on the 360 and PS3".
New for PC version is a replay editor, buffering up to 30 seconds of game play in your history. Stop the game at any time to view footage.
Clips can be saved and edited, using a variety of tools such as video filters and switching camera angles.
Clips can be put together into a sequence and saved. Share your videos via R* Social Club.
New filters in multiplayer games offering a greater variety of customization of games.
Players will be able to use their Xbox 360 controller or traditional keyboard to play the game.
Visuals look "more polished," says Eurogamer, continues by saying: "lighting is more realistic and there's a much higher level of detail on both characters and environments". Movement animations are also said to be smoother.
IGN's own man at the event says 2560 x 1600 is the highest resolution in which you can play the game.
Notice the last dot point^^^^^
This game can be played at 2560 x 1600! That is amazing! This is beyond the resolution of full HD.
Another point Rockstar are making is that it will be better then on the PS3 and 360. This is pretty obvious because the PC can calculate all that extra details far more then consoles can, but will it succeed?
Rockstar is going to keep the game on hold for as long as possible so that they can polish and perfect every detail in the game so that the PC players will get what they pay for!.
The game will have a 16 players multiplayer and will be available on Windows LIVE.
The official release date for the PC version of the game will be around November 18th or the 21st. This is the release date for North America and Europe.
The official requirements for the game have not yet to be released but they are expected to be pretty tough to handle a game like this, I'm gonna say about 4gb RAM, 512mb ATI or Nvidia Geforce video card and a big 15gb storage!
