(contd.)

Classes and Abilities

There are always different types of gamers. There are the people who are complete powerhouses that run into battle and confront 10 enemies at a time. There are also the people who prefer to kick back, knock an arrow, and stay nice and safe from a distance. Whatever gaming personality you have, there is a class for you

Warrior

Amazing tank class, can blaze through a dungeon doing serious damage to anything that gets in its path. The class is almost always equipped with a huge sword or axe and decked out with the strongest armor known to man. These guys are a true newbie class, for you don't need much experience to run through a dungeon swinging a sword like a madman. It is a newb's class, but when made right, can become the ultimate fighting machine. You REALLY don't want to pick a fight with this beast

Mage

Do you hate running straight into battle? Do you like doing a great amount of damage, but also like to stay a little ways back? If so, then the Mage is the class for you. With an assortment of spells for doing damage and owning anything, to summoning and sapping the skills of enemies. The mage is a very well balanced class with many strong and weak points. It is a good beginner class for anyone new to the world of Oblivion.

Thief

The class that you can't even see. The thief is the best class for anything that requires a bit of sneakiness. The thief specializes in the picking of locks, the use of daggers, and hiding in the shadows. This class is best for quite a few missions where enemies aren't as likely to see you. They have a nifty ability that whenever they are crouched, they can attack and do an amazing amount of damage. It is best to equip your thief with a bow and a dagger. Even an invisibility spell or two wouldn't hurt. This is a class for people who are skilled in the silent arts.

Guilds

There are also guilds to join. Each guild sends you on a chain of quests that lead to a grand reward when completed. The guilds you can join are

Thieves Guild (My personal Favorite)

-For the Thieves guild, you go on various missions for the Grey Fox, on of the greatest thieves around. You steal simple objects to unlock new missions, and eccentric items to complete the quests given to you

Mages Guild

-Quest for intellect and the arcane arts. Doing quests from the Mages guild are a definite reward for any magic user of Cyrodiil

Fighters Guild

-These quests are similar to what the army wants you do to. Oh, there is a disturbance in the force? Go check it out, we will look for your corpse in 3 days time.

The Dark Brotherhood

-If these people aren't the most *ed up people in Cyrodiil, I honestly don't know anything anymore. You gain entrance to the guild when you KILL someone. This guild is all about MURDER and ASSASSINATION. Getting my picture here? These guys are seriously messed up. Ah well, at least you get to watch them all kill each other and get a cool horse.

Each guild offers their own great rewards to those who can get through every quest.

Fin

To sum it all up, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion is a great game. If you haven't played it, then I don't see why you have any reason to live. If you have, you know how awesome it was and why im recommending it to you. It has great gameplay, great AI, beautiful graphics, and a great story. It is a must-have for any gamer. My rating for Oblivion is a whopping 10 out of 10. It was that good. Oh, and if you don't have a PC, no need to worry, for it is on 360 and PS3 alike.
