You can either choose from the German Armed Forces, or the U.S. Army. There are six player classes in witch you can choose from for both factions.
U.S. ARMY:
Rifleman
- Main weapon: M1 Garand. Good for medium-long range. Uses Iron Sights.
- Secondary: Rile Grenades: Good for clearing bunkers or rooms from short-long range.
- Third: Knife: Hand-to-hand.
Assault
- Main weapon: Thompson. Should only be used in medium-close range. Inaccurate if
standing.
- Secondary: Colt 45. Good sidearm if main weapon is out.
- Third: Punch Is only useful in hand-to-hand.
- Forth: Frag Grenade: Useful for clearing rooms. Can "cook" so enemy can't throw back.
- Fifth: Smoke Granade: Useful for obscuring enemy's view.
Support
- Main weapon: B.A.R.(Browning Automatic Rifle) Accurate when bursting or at prone.
Only has 20 round per clip but carries many magazines.
- Second: Frag Grenades: Same as described above.
- Knife: Hand-to-hand.
Sniper
- Main weapon: Springfield. Sniping weapon. Only should be used for long range
unless your crazy.
- Second: Colt 45. : Same as described before.
- Knife: Same as above.
Machine Gunner
- Main Weapon: 30. caliber machine gun. Good for pinning down enemies or
for staged assaults.
- Second: Colt 45. Same as above.
- Third: Knife. Same as above.
Rocket
- Main Weapon: Bazooka. No good use being that there are no tanks in DoD but is
still good for taking out infantry.
- Second: M1 Carbine. Fast shooting and good accuracy. But only two magazines.
- Third: Knife. Same as above.
German Armed Forces:
Rifleman
- Main Weapon: K98. Good long range rifle. High damage and high accuracy.
- Second: Rifle Grenades. Pill shaped grenades that do less damage than the US Rifle Grenade
but go farther.
- Third: Spade. Shovel that is used for hand-to-hand fighting.
Assualt
- Main Weapon: MP40. Good automatic weapon used for close combat. Has more bullets
than Thompson but is less powerful.
- Second: Punch. Should only be used in close combat.
- Third: Walther P38. Good sidearm if main weapon is out. Has one more bullet than Colt 45.
- Fourth: Frag Grenade. Good for clearing rooms. Can "cook".
- Fifth: Smoke Grenade. Used for making it so enemies can't see you as well.
Support
- Main Weapon: STG44. Good powerful weapon and has 10 more bullets than BAR but only
has 6 magazines.
- Second: Spade. Same as above.
- Third: Frag Grenades. Same as above.
Sniper
- Main weapon: K98 Scoped. Great for sniping, though scope is hard to use sometimes.
- Second: Walther P38. Same as above.
- Third: Spade. Same as above.
Machine Gunner
- Main Weapon: MG42. One of the best machine guns in history. Good ammo
compacity. Over-heats over time.
- Second: Walther P38. Same as above.
- Third: Spade. Same as above.
Rocket
- Main Weapon: Pazerschreck. Good rocket for taking out armor... but there is no armour,
but it is still good for taking out infantry.
- Second: I don't know the name. I've only seen it on DoD. Shoots fast witch makes it
inaccurate. Not much ammo either.
- Third: Spade. Same as above.
