Scrin Rushing Strategies
In Command and Conquer 3, rushing can be very difficult for the Scrin. Their basic vehicles are the weakest compare to other factions in Command and Conquer 3. But sometimes you should try this option to gain victory.
The most common rush for the Scrin in command and conquer 3 is Disintigrators rush. They can wipe out tanks, infantry, and buildings quickly. 4 Portals churning out an endless loop of them is typical. In command and conquer3, some buildings such as the Con Yard are easier to be captured than o be destroyed. Send your Assimilators in before you rush. If an anti-infantry defense goes up, destroy them first before your losses a lot of your Disintigrator. Try to destroy power plants first in order to make enemy's defenses offline and make your attack more successful.
In command and conquer 3, shock Troopers are also a god choice for a rush. They have high defense, good damage, and are relatively cheap to produce. You will need at least 25 Shock Troopers to attack enemy base. Because the shock troopers are considered as infantry in command and conquer 3, you should make sure to destroy anti-infantry targets first.
Scrin Turtling Strategies
In command and conquer 3, turtling is the best option for the Scrin. The Scrin late game units are very good in command and conquer 3.
Use about 20 Disintigrators, 5 or 10 Buzzers, and a few Seekers and Gun Walkers in order to stop the first attack. Keep the Seekers and Gun Walkers inside of your base, and only use them if the attack breaks through. Use the combination of Disintigrators and Buzzers to encounter the tank assault. Some Photon Cannons will be a good addition to your early defenses.
The bridge is an enemy for the Scrin in command and conquer 3. At the beginning of every game, try to destroy every bridge you come across. The Scrin's power is air-based that is why the Scrin do not need bridges. You may use disintegrators during the starting phase and Devastators later on.
When you are fighting in maps with bridges like deadly sertao or the city map, force fire your devastators on the bridge hut facing the opponent. This way, the engineers will die before they repair the bridge. Also, do not forget to escort your devastators with some AA to protect it from Nod and GDI aircraft.
Build Storm Columns after you have a Technology Assembler and combine them with two or three Devastator for each columns. Line your Storm Columns around your base. While you are doing this, you should also be working on your Signal Transmitter. With your other production que, build 2 or 3 more Gravity Stabilizers, 2 Devastators and 1 or 2 PACs will allow you to increase the size of your force relatively quickly.
Wait until the enemy attack you massively then rally all of your units for a counter attack. Use your Devastators to destroy AA defenses from outside their range. Then send in your PACs to set up an ion storm in the middle of their base. When using PACs, do it in groups of more than 5. It also helps to send in some ground units to disorient the enemy forces and draw fire while your PAC's do the job.
How to deal with the GDI
The GDI have very good combination of land units in command and conquer 3. The Disintigrator will be very important to deal with the GDI. They are cheap to produce and can destroy GDI's unit such as Mammoth and Predator Tanks.
In order to repel GDI Predator rushes, you should have at least equal number of Disintigrators ( 20 usually). It is a good idea to combine them with few Photon Cannons.
In command and conquer 3, attack the GDI first might be a wise decision. As soon as you get your Portal up, start building Disintigrators. While doing this, build a Stasis Chamber and Nerve Center, and a few more Portals. After that you should start building your Shock Troopers and attack them. Send your Disintigrators in front to destroy tanks and protect your infantry from anti-infantry defenses. After that send your Shock Troopers to destroy the enemy power plants first, after that destroy their construction facilities. Make sure to be building reinforcements while you are attacking.
In command and conquer 3, the GDI's doesn't have good anti-air units, so usually they will use a lot of anti-air or anti-air units. Use your Devastators to destroy their Pitbulls. Since the devastators cannot target air units, you should be aware of the GDI's Firehawks. Focus on building Annihilators and the other smattering of ground units, combine them with Stormriders and a small number of PACs and Devastators for air support.
In command nd conquer 3, economy is a very important factor. Destroying GDI's economy is another good option. Destroy every Harvester they send out would really hurt their economy. Park your Disintigrators on the Tiberium fields and use them to take out one or two Harvesters in the early game.
How to deal with the Nod
Because the Nod has the best stealth ability in command and conquer 3, most of the time you will be attacked in more than one way. Make sure to build a lot of Disintigrators, and one or two Buzzer Hives near your Con Yard and Power Plants
The Annihilator Tripods will be the strongest unit on the ground, so use this to your advantage. They can crush any of Nods tanks except the Avatar.
In command and conquer 3, the weakest spot for the Scrin are their Harvesters. Keep a Stormrider circling each Tiberium field, and create a hotkeyed group of a few Seekers and Tripods ready at all times to repel Stealth Tanks or Assault Bikes.
How to deal with another Scrin
PACs is one of the best Scrin's unit in command and conquer3. Always have more PACs than your enemy has. Use some Buzzers to explore the enemy base, if they are building up alot of PACs, then building a constant stream of your own PACs on top of a mass of Seeker's.
Upgraded Shock Troopers can also deal decent damage against air targets, but they are killed easily by Devastators. So it is less effective if you build them in the late game when the enemy already have PACs and Devastator.
Use your PACs to deal with Annihilator Tripods, since they cannot attack air units. If they were escorted by another unit, set up ion storms with your PACs and throw everything you have at them.
Scattering Storm Columns all throughout your base in order to prevent the Mastermind sneak into your base.
Create a hot key of Stormriders or Devastators to repel any enemy's random attack, or may be a Mastermind.
