Ok first of all it was rated as the best game of 2007! And since then in my opinion it has got better and better!
So what do you do in single player game mode?
Ok so the whole point of the single player mode is to end the war between the Russians and the Western forces (UK and USA). You are the player named “Soap” who is a new trainee at the SAS. You have to train him, defuse nuclear bombs, rescue people, and stop the destruction of USA and overall killing a lot of people. You are in control of another player who is named “Jackson” he is part of the USA army and is the soldier who is in the middle of all combat. With him you rescue people and kill people and you find out a lot about the other characters of the game. There is also a mission with the SAS leader where you go back in time to when he was a rookie and sniper Zakahev.
So what is online play?
Well online play has many of the maps from the single player mode and some new ones. You are in teams of the Russians and the SAS where you battle your enemies in unlimited life situations. There are many game types for example Team Death Match & Headquarters. Battle with your friends in private mode or if you are in a clan battle with them for glory! Online play will alter due to player numbers.
