I don't see nazi signs, can't hear Hitler's voice after a match and I can't play the zombie mode. BUT: Flame Throwers unexpectedly aren't censored!!
Single player mode
I only played the first missions yet. The graphic is awesome, I must say. You start in a Japanese prison. You see, how an Japanese hits one of your comrades, who says: "We won't tell them anything!" And spits on his face. The Japanese (an officer) puts his cigarette out in his eyes and orders a soldier to kill him, and YOU too! The soldier takes his knife, what is hidden in his socks. He kills your comrade and comes near you. He swings his knife at you, but in this moment..... Assistance has arrived. An American soldier kills the Japanese from behind and gives to you a pistol. You can see the rest of the Americans killing the Japanese guards in front of the hut. You are not save yet, you have to follow your unit to a boat. On this way, you will have to resist several Japanese units.
And so on. In other missions you are fighting in the jungle, and several times Japaneses ambush you. I repeat, graphics are awesome. The game is worth to buy, especially the not German version I think.
Multi player mode
Everything looks like in CoD4, but the details are different. New guns, maps, gun attachments and so on. Well, I personally like CoD4 more in overall. But back to topic: There are several new features in CoD:WaW multiplayer
-Friends list. You also can invite friends on the server you are playing on.
-10 classes instead of 5.
-New game modes, "war", "capture the flag".....
-As far as I know, u cannot change your nickname ingame. U need to edit the file name.
-I didn't unlock flame throwers yet in multi player, but I played them in single player. They are awesome! Well, I don't see burning bodies because I got the German version.
-New grenades, gas, molotov cocktail for example.
-4 perk slots.
-You can drive tanks!
-An "coop mode". You can play the campaign online with 4 players maximum.
Worth to buy? Better them Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare?
Yeah, i'ts definately worth to buy. But CoD4:MW is still better in my opinion. I like some of the new features, but I like CoD4 more.
-German version is extremely censored. That's my main point. People with different versions may find CoD5 much better.
-No hardcore mode! There is one, but it just removes the HUD and doesn't decrease your health.
-You can't switch ingame name.
-Stupid perks are still in by the way. (Martyrdom, last chance, tube)
-If I would have to choose one, I'd choose CoD4. I also like maps, guns and the other details in CoD4 more. Well, that's only my opinion but I know several people thinking the same. By the way: Directly after the release Treyarch released the first patch: 1.1. It's a 350 MB file..... Treyarch sucks. In the patch they changed weapon balance. Shouldn't they test balance before releasing the game?
