Call of Duty 2: Sniper's Guide

First we'll start of with the different type of sniper you can use. For the Americans, they have the “Springfield”. This is probably the most popular sniper because the crosshairs are a “+” which is easy to use. It also has the best accuracy. It has the best accuracy. You will spawn with 65 bullets, with 5 already loaded. You can reload at any point. This can be used in these maps: Brecourt, Burgundy, Carentan, St. Mere Eglise, Beltot, and Caen.

For the British, they have the “Scoped Lee-Enfield”. It is a good weapon because it can hold 10 bullets, so that means less reloading, but it reloads in packs of 5. Personally, this is my favourite sniper because of the crosshairs. This can be used in these maps: Village-Bocage, El Alamein, Matmata and Toujane.

For the German, they use the “Scoped Kar98k”. For most, this is the least favourite sniper because of the crosshairs. But that's not true, it's still pretty good. This can be used in every map because it's World War 2, so the Germans are the bad guys.

Lastly, for the Russians, they have the “Scoped Mosin-Nagant”. This is my second favourite sniper because of the crosshairs. It also looks really cool. This sniper is only available in Stalingrad and Leningrad.

Tips

• First off, always carry a fully-automatic weapon incase you are in close combat.
• Always stay with your team, because it's harder for the other team to come to you and shoot, if you wonder away, you'll get killed easily.
• Always hide behind on obstacle and use the lean buttons.
• If another sniper has found you, don't try to be tough and say, “He'll never shoot me, I'm too good.” Try to go to another location.
• Whenever you are reloading, cover, you don't want to be seen.
• Hiding in bushes and trees is good because it's harder to find you.
• Try looking for small holes and cracks to shoot through.
• Don't take unnecessary shots.
• Don't try to be a hero and try to take headshots, they are hard, and only do them if you are 100% sure you'll kill them.
• Stay low, you don't want o expose yourself, when trying to move from place to place, try crawling or crouching. Only stand and run only when you are positive no one will shoot you.
• Use your map, when the other team shoots, a red dot will appear on the map; use that to find other snipers.
• A lot of snipers love to peek through windows, so always try to look in tall buildings.
• Don't stay in one place to long. If you kill someone twice, they will probably try to hunt you down personally. I suggest moving every couple of minutes or every two times you reload.
• Don't stay too close to windows, people will see your figure and shoot, try to stand a few feet away from windows and doors.
• In some maps, it's easier to be a sniper, in the ones that are harder; I suggest you try your best to be concealed.
• Whenever you are sniping, don't keep you scope up the whole time. In between shots, take out the scope; look around to see if anything changed. Also, whenever you hear something drops, looks around for a grenade.
• Lastly, don't make big movements such as jumping and standing a lot, it's very dangerous.

Lastly, here are some goals you can try to make:

1. As your first goal, try to get more kills than deaths
2. Second goal is to die have the amount of your kills
3. Next, try to get 10 more kills than deaths
4. Fourthly, Try getting 30 kills and 15 deaths
5. Next, try to get 50+ kill and only 20 deaths
6. By now you should be very good at sniping, so try to get 60+ kills and 20 deaths
7. Lastly, try to get 25+ kills and 0 deaths
