Player Setups

“Survivor”

Lets say that your not exactly the most accurate shooter or don't have good reflex's, this is the setup you should use… For perks you will need: “1 - Bandolier, 2 - Juggernaut, 3 - Last Stand/Second Chance” This means you will last long and be able to Kill the Person who killed you and also have enough to last your lifetime, On perk 3 you could also choose Martyrdom which will drop a grenade and usually get you at least one kill. For weapons, your usually going to want something that can shoot a lot of bullets, fast. I'd suggest using a Light Machine Gun or Possibly a shotgun. Although this method is going to keep you alive longer, its not as easy to kill people as other methods… Especially if the other player saw you first.

“Sharp Shooter”

This setup is for people who have great eyesight and the best reflexes possible, as your going to be shooting small targets quickly… For perks you are going to need “1 - Bouncing Betties/Claymores, 2 - Stopping Power, 3 Deep Impact” This means that you can stay in one spot safely with the claymores and you can kill people with 1-2 shots easily (2-4 through walls), for Perk 3 you could also have steady aim (If your using a Bolt-Action/Sniper Rifle with a scope) as this will help if your not so quick at aiming. For weapons your going to have to use either a Bolt-Shot-Rifle/Sniper or Just a plain Rifle depending on distance, damage and fire rate that you want. This method is probably going to give you the best KDR (Kill/Death Ratio) as your not going to be seen often and you can see most of the map (If your in a good position) and kill people who are one the other side of it, if you are found however, its hard to kill people at close range especially if there's more than one…

“Explosives Expert”

This setup is for people who like things that go “BOOM!” and like to more than one person at a time… For perks your going to need: “1 - C4/Satchel Charges, 2 - Fireworks/Sonic Boom, 3 - Martyrdom” This means that you can lay down explosives and wait till someone comes past to kill them, and that they do more damage then usual but If you get snuck up on and killed then they die as well. For weapons your going to want to use a Shotgun as your mostly going to be in Close Quarter combat when trying to get to a good place to hide. This is definitely one of the best setups to use if you cant seem to get kills very easy as you don't really need much skill to use it…

“Running Gunner”

This setup is the one that requires the most skill but generally gets you the best possible kill streak, it requires you to have good reflexes, aiming and know the hiding spots of all the maps… For perks your going to need “1 - Bandolier, 2 - stopping Power, 3 - Extreme Conditioning” This allows you to Kill easily without worrying about wasting ammo and lets you run to the best spot before anyone else. For Weapons your going to want to use a Sub-Machine gun, preferably one with High damage and low accuracy (Low accuracy is better for Hip fire as it can hit more people) like the MP40 (COD5), you will also want to get the silencer for the weapon you want to use so that you don't get caught by surprise while on your kill streak or you could use a shotgun that shoots quickly,. If your good at the game then this is the best setup you could use, but is hard to get into without dieing all of the time.

Tbh, quite alot has changed in terms of gameplay, its generally slower because of the slow weapons and big maps... This could be different on the PC Version because of the bigger teams limit but this is just my opinion

nice I knew all that info but to someone who is not already an avid player would be awesome:)
I am definetly the "running gunner" however I disagree with the MP40 comment...not only will you be hated for an MP40 spamming noob the thompson and PPSH are both FAR superior and can still snipe is the need arises:)
Best of luck and I also have written some guides:) Check them out hehe!

It really all depends tbh... As i said in the guide, these are just examples of the best techniques ive seen and done. I've been told by a few people that the MP40 isnt as good as the Thomson but i find that guns that shoot relatively slow and in-accurate are the best for killing with the Running Gunner strategy...
