The Microsoft xbox 360 was released a long time ago, in the first few week apparent problems soon appeared in the console, stories emerged of the console burning down houses across America, not good if you ask me, no one wants a console that could possibly kill you and your loved ones.
More problems soon followed some consoles were spinning the discs at crazy speeds causing them to scratch to high heaven, not good when your spending around £50 on one of these games for your console to destroy it, I would like to add I heard that Microsoft did replace peoples damaged discs not sure if there still doing that now though.
Next problem the fan, now the fan can make a racket and I’m talking louder then a pc fan here, not only that but sometimes when you turn of the console the fan seems to know best and carries on, you must restart the console then turn off again to get the fan to shut down.
I soon found out for my soon found out for myself when I purchased the machine, the battery life in the wireless controllers are not that great, so you buy a charger for it, extra money gone, then I hear now that the DVD will not play HDDVD but instead there going to release a new DVD drive you buy separately for the HDDVD! Talk about a rip off!
The main problem for me is I love the console; it has some great features and some amazing games to go with it, plus xbox live is the best online gaming experience anyone could ask for. But as a gamer and a student on a budget I feel ripped off for al these extras that I need to purchase all of the time! It is about time that the console market start rewarding loyal customers, over my years I have collect and still own 18 consoles I have over 300 games for them, don’t I deserve a break and my wallet!
