The Wii is an innovative gaming system, especially for some good laughs.
Wii all know how innovative the Wii gaming system is - allowing kids to actually move when they play video games instead of just using their fingers. Yet, the great innovation about the Wii design is all of the accessories one must purchase just to play additional games. Above and beyond the standard remotes, one can purchase a steering wheel (Mario Kart), a guitar (Guitar Hero), baseball bat, tennis racket, golf club (Wii Sports), and many more. The most recent addition is the Wii Fit. This accessory allows the player to stand on two scales and the game senses the movement of the player by the shifting weight.
There are actual reports that medical doctors have recommended the Wii Fit to their patients for an exercise program. Give us fifty more years and the Olympics will be a whole new set of activities… Maybe as a society, Wii Fit right into this new idea of working out!
