I just recently bought a Nintendo wii, and let me say it is really fun. Though the wii has had a lot of negative feedback saying that it can compete against Sony ps3 and the x-360. I would agree to a certain degree. The ps3 and 360 both have very good graphics making their games very realistic. Though the wii has an element of gaming that they don't have: motion sensory.
The wii is based on motion censors and therefore has a wireless controller. The wii games are also considered childish, but it comes down to what you want in a game. I has more than satisfied with games like Zelda:tlp and prince of Persia:rs, and Nintendo has more great titles coming out. I think the wii is a very good console for all ages specifically for child to youth. Parents like the wii because of very limited violence and parent controls on the console.
Overall I think the wii is a very good console with great games that get you actively moving, and the price was not bad at all. I think it was around $270 + tax. I would definitely recommended this gaming console to people. Please give feedback on this article about the Nintendo wii.
