Hey did you hear about that new game system called the Nintendo WII? It just came out on November 19th, 2006. It is a very unusual system that sort of reminds of the duck hunting game for NES, except for it is a whole system. All of the WII's controls are wireless and to use the system you have to point the controller at the T.V. screen and move it around to click on things or play games. At first I wasn't sure if I would like it, but now I think that it was a very good idea to have something different.
The WII's original name was the Nintendo Revolution, but after a huge debate, Nintendo decided to change the name of the system to the Nintendo WII, which is the universal word for the word “We”. The Nintendo WII comes in five different colors which are red, white, silver, lime green, and black. Each of the systems comes with a controller which is the same color as the system. The WII has very many features, along with playing games made for the system, that make is very unique.
First of all along with playing the games made for the WII, you can also browse the internet if you have wireless throughout your house, or you hardwire it to the wall. With the browser you can look up anything you want and go through any site very easily. It was a great idea and I'm sure many people took full advantage of the attribute. They also have a photo storing and editing program added on to the WII. With this, you can upload pictures you have taken, and edit them using the software provided on the WII. After watching a few videos of the program I think it looks very cool and fun to play around with.
The WII also has a forecast and news program that tells you the weather for that day and the current news. If you are into knowing what is going on in current times and want to know what the weather is going to be that day, this program would be perfect for you.
All in all, I think Nintendo did a great job designing and programming the WII, and I can't wait to see what they have planned next.
