Nintendo Says Core Titles are in Development

A Nintendo representative has revealed to Edge Magazine that they indeed have core titles in development.

The representative would only say that Nintendo has teams working on all of its IP's, however the source also added that these titles need a longer time frame in which to be completed, somewhere around 2 to 3 years.

Nintendo seemed to abandon more gamers than it took notice to during this year's E3 convention in Los Angeles, CA. Earlier in the year Nintendo CEO Reggie Fils-Aime had said that Nintendo had major announcements for all of its core IP's, only to see those announcements vaporize during E3, being replaced instead with a slew of announcements that were geared towards casual gamers. Following E3 more than one Nintendo rep has come forward and said that Nintendo is making core titles, and that Nintendo would like to shed this image that they are ignoring core gamers any way that it could.
