My view of todays video games, and the future of video games.
Some people hate video game for there violence to the young children of today's society. Some people think your wasting your time or throwing your cash out the window. The other side of the story is bigger than you think it would be. Video games are lets say the “horseback riding of tomorrow” you can go basically any were these days and you will see some sort of video games. I can go to the local McDonalds heck they have Nintendo 64 and a game cube to play. I cant wait instead of darts or pool in bars you going to see drunk guys playing some Wii fishing or play virtual pool and darts. Video games are EVERWERE for the U.S. to China. These year e3 [ a big video game get together of all the major companies [ Nintendo ,Sony ,Microsoft to name a few] and they show us there big products there coming out with these year. Video game consoles are big and so are handheld's such a the PSP [play station portable] and the Nintendo DS. These little video game systems are the perfect balance of fun and enjoyment to pull out of your pocket when needed[ your mother is nagging you about chores]. Although the makes of the XBOX 360 [ Microsoft] has yet to steep into the industry of handheld gaming systems, I am sure they will soon.
But as for now with our technology rising so very fast who knows what kind of next generation toys we have in store! He are some cool features on these gaming devices. First with the ps3 not a handheld but a console for your TV, it has a built in blue-ray player and of course high definition. The XBOX 360 another console, comes with high definition also about 100$ cheaper than the ps3 and has a built in HD DVD player. Then there is the WII the console that is different for any other has motion censored controls that allows you to play game in a different way, cheapest of all next generation consoles at about 250$. Now with the handheld's. The PSP has a decent screen size graphics for the little thing are unbelievable, and has WIFI connection and a built in web browser. Now for the Nintendo DS. It has two screen one in which is a touch screen. WIFI compatibility for online gaming but you have to buy the web browser. The last gaming system is the mother of them all ,sure it goes out of date in about 4 years but what the heck it is the, PC if you have an extreme fever for video game buy a 2,000$ computer if you have one mother of a computer then it will beat out the PS3 and XBOX 360 hands down! So much more you can do on a PC, you should now your on one right now. That's my look at today's technology please tell me yours.
