Xbox 360
Advantages:
- Can talk to people online and its user-friendly i.e. you can talk, or use a keyboard for the dashboeard.
- The gamer-score is a constant championship thing. "I've gotta get the best gamer-score there ever was!" is the motto for most X360 gamers nowadays.:-)
- Teaches gamers the value of money till they wait for later for prices to come down on the marketplace.
- Graphics are great, great gameplay.
Disadvantages:
- The constant forcing to buy is a complete rip off.
- Red rings. Replacing your X360 takes time and it gets on your nerves.
Nintedo Wii
Advantages:
- Swinging the controller around is much fun.
- Gets you at least some exercise.
- The games are good like SMG, etc.
- You can bu accessories like swords and shields which makes the gameplay seem more realistic.
Disadvantages:
- Bad graphics.
- Getting points by buying isnt that great since some people arent too comfortable with spending money on Wii points.
My conclusion is that even though Wii is most probably a great console and most probably the best, Xbox 360 has all the publicity. Few people experience the wii in action. More people go for the 360 because of graphics and games being more high tech. But if you see, the important thing about games is not its graphics or anything but about the joy it gives the person playing the game, be it a 2D game with horrible grpahics or a Sci fi 3D game with high requirements with the state of the art grpahics.
